Who we are

Peak Air Renewables Ltd ("Peak Air", "we") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in providing our services. Registered office: 9 Stoughton Road, Oadby, Leicester, LE2 4DS. Contact us about privacy at cool@peakair.co.uk.

What we collect

• Enquiries and survey bookings: your name, phone number, email, postcode, address if you give it, preferred times and anything you tell us about your home.
• Estimates: the room types and sizes you enter, if you send them with your enquiry.
• How you found us: the page you arrived on, the website that referred you and any advert tracking tags in the link, so we know which advertising works.
• Surveys and quotes: room measurements, photographs of where equipment will go, and the quote itself.
• Quote activity: when your quote link is opened, the PDF downloaded or the quote accepted, with the type of browser used. This helps us follow up at the right time.
• Payments: if you pay a deposit online, the payment is handled by Stripe. We see that it was paid, not your card details.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To arrange your survey, prepare your quote and carry out the installation: to take steps at your request before a contract, and to perform the contract.
• To follow up on a quote we've sent you: our legitimate interest in running our business, balanced against yours. Tell us at any time if you'd rather we didn't.
• To keep business, tax and warranty records: our legal obligations.

We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you've asked for them.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the business, each bound to protect your data: Vercel (website hosting), Neon (our database, hosted in London), Resend (sending email), Stripe (card payments), and postcodes.io (looking up the town for a postcode; only the postcode is sent). Our installation engineers receive the details they need to do the job. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and quotes that don't go ahead: up to two years, then deleted. Customer records for completed jobs: six years after the job, for tax and warranty purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to move it to another provider. Email cool@peakair.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
