The process
How installation works
A free survey, a fixed written quote, and a clean installation, usually done in a day. Here's exactly what happens.
1. Your free home survey
We visit within 5 working days, at a time that suits you. We measure each room, look at the walls and the outside space, and agree with you where the indoor unit, outdoor unit and pipework will go. We check your consumer unit and any planning points. It takes 30 to 45 minutes and costs nothing.
2. Your fixed written quote
We email you a clear quote: the exact unit for each room, its energy ratings, everything that's included and one total price. You can accept it online and pay a deposit to book your installation date. The balance is due when we finish.
3. Installation day
We arrive when we said we would. Dust sheets go down first. We mount the indoor unit, core a single neat hole through the wall, fix the outdoor unit on a bracket or ground stand, and connect the pipework. Our electrician fits a dedicated circuit.
Before anything runs, the pipework is pressure tested with nitrogen and vacuumed to remove air and moisture: the steps that make a system last. Then we commission it, check it's cooling and heating properly, and tidy up.
4. Handover and warranty
We show you the remote and the app, how to clean the filters and how to get the most from it. We register your manufacturer's warranty for you.
Most single-room installs take one day. Two or three rooms usually take two. We'll confirm at the survey.
Our promises
- On time. We turn up when we say we will, for the survey and on installation day. If anything changes, you hear from us first.
- Clean and tidy. Dust sheets down, drilling dust caught at source, and the room hoovered before we leave. You won't know we've been, apart from the cool.
- Done in a day. Most single-room installations take one day: unit up, pipework hidden, system tested and running before we go.
- A fair, fixed price. A written quote after the survey, and that's the price. No add-ons on the day, no hard sell.

Questions people ask
How much mess is there?
Very little. We core one hole through the wall (about 65 mm across) with dust extraction, lay dust sheets, and hoover before we leave. Pipework runs in neat white trunking or is hidden in the wall where possible.
Do I need to be home all day?
Someone needs to let us in, show us round and be there at the end for the handover, which takes about 15 minutes. In between, you can get on with your day.
Will my electrics be OK?
We check at the survey. A typical unit needs its own small circuit from your consumer unit, which our electrician fits and certifies on the day. If your consumer unit needs upgrading we tell you at the survey, not on the day.
What about maintenance?
Clean the indoor filters every few weeks when it's in heavy use (it takes two minutes, and we'll show you how). An annual service keeps it efficient and protects your warranty.
